I went to Auburn in 2008 and went to several conferences during the year at the Mises Institute. I’d consider emailing someone from the institute and let them know your interest.

I don’t know about any direct affiliations, but the Institute is located on the edge of campus. I have known students that interned there while in college. There is also a libertarian group on campus that works with the Institute to bring speakers to the campus on a regular basis. Hope that helps!
