Auburn University party apartment complexes

Auburn University is what makes auburn a busy, exciting city. Students from all over the United states and the world converge in its august halls in search of higher education - and apartments.

Apartments in Auburn Alabama are numerous. They mostly cater to student s and parents of student’s who are visiting. Off-campus housing is very popular with co-eds as it gives them a taste of freedom. However, this first taste of freedom”"can cause numerous problems for management and other student-apartment dwellers

Some apartment complexes are known to be party-complexes ” where management is “soft” on noise and “fun” whereas others are very strict with these shenanigans and are popular with the serious students. This article will cover the “party” complexes so its up to you as a student to decide whether you want to “party” or “study”

Pinehurst Villas - known for wild weekends at the pool. some drug use has been reported by students and one co-ed says that “the maintenance man is a convicted felon who is allowed to enter the room which should be against the law..”

Logan Square - another complex with pool “problems” the action is somewhat more sedate compared to Pinehurst, but students still complain about the noise all day and all night. Another student complains that “the dog area smelled awful and that the new apartments were twice smaller than the older ones..”

VILLAGE AT LAKESIDE AUBURN

Well I guess this students review says it all..

“One instance is a large family that lives in the building next to our own. The children are always outside and being loud at all hours. I have more than once observed the children being destructive to the apartment property, as well as tenants own personal property (my own included). When the antics of the children were brought to the parents attention, they were less than willing to entertain the idea that their children could possible be misbehaving. The same actions were brought to the property manager’s attention to no avail.

“The second instance is a loud neighbor that lives behind us. He constantly plays music very loud or has loud parties. The first time that this happened, I tried to have a conversation with the neighbor. He stated that it would not happen again. When it did I tried to make contact again. When I knocked on his door he did not answer. Of course, with it being the weekend, there is no way to get a hold of a staff member regarding a matter such as this. I was forced to wait until Monday to speak with the staff. I was assured that this would be handled effectively and efficiently. Much to my dissatisfaction, the loud music/parties continue. I have called the police and the office many times and no one is willing to do anything about it.”

Of course not all apartments in auburn are noisy and mismanaged, this article aims to point out possible pit-fall for the freshmen and what they might experience if they do not do their research well when looking for student housing in auburn.
