Just less than a mile from the Auburn Campus, the Tamarack Apartments in Auburn, AL is one of the nearest student apartments to the Auburn Univerity. It is also along the Tiger Transit Route so goint to and from the University will never be a problem.
Tamarack Aparments’ other selling point is their spacious floor plans. For students who enjoy large space to move around, then this student apartment may be a good choice. A 1 BR/1 BA unit has 800 sq. feet of space at only 375$. There are also 2 BR/2BA and 3 BR/2 BA units available for group tenants.
Some of Tamarack’s amenities include, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer/dryer connections, onsite laundry room and patio or balcony. An indoor & outdoor pool plus tennis courts are welcome bonuses. Little pets may also be brought.
Only a few and old reviews can be found in the internet and most of it border on the negative.
But Tamarack apartments is under new management. Maybe that could result into improvements and make it a better place to stay. Still, it is advisable to check out every details on your own first before deciding if this is the place for you or not.
Their leasing office is open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. During weekends, they are only open by appointment.

Campus Pointe Apartments in Longleaf Lakes Auburn AL is a popular residence among students who go to Auburn University. The residents number at around 800 or so during the school season, and it’s generally a good place to start when checking out choices for affordable apartments in Auburn if you’re a student planning to get into the university or in a situation like that. Campus Pointe is a company that specializes in student apartments and this one in Auburn is only one of many across the country.

There is a pleasant apartment community located at East Glenn Avenue in Auburn AL called the Cabana Apartments. It is a pretty large complex of buildings, and don’t think of the term cabana to mean “small huts with thatched roofs” because these have no place in the middle of Auburn despite the name. The units are large as rental apartments go, and there are newly-built ones available. There is a central swimming pool which is essential in the AL heat, and even if soaking in the water isn’t your thing there are patios, decks and balconies available so you can at least look on protected in the shade. You can also stay in and just enjoy the central airconditioning.
