Apartment Rental Rates in Auburn AL may drop

Businessweek reported that the apartment rental rates in the country plummeted as another ugly effect of the economic crisis. With the help of survey company, Axiometrics, 25 Metros from across the United States have been named as having the biggest drop in rental rates.

Birmingham, Alabama’s cultural center and 23rd on the list, rental rates in the area dropped to 2 percent. Companies are downsizing resulting to increased unemployment. Unemployment make families move in with family members to save apartment rental fees. Apartment communities then increase vacancies, forcing the landlords to cut on  rates and accept concessions.

This scenario may also happen to Auburn, Alabama. If it does, experts advise that it is a good time to take on a long term lease. If your lease is set to expire, heeding the expert advice seems a sound decision. Moreso, if you really like living in your apartment community.

Woodland Hills Apartments Auburn AL

Woodland Hills

830 North Donahue Dr
Auburn, AL 36830

Located in Donahue Drive, Woodland Hills Apartments promises a luxury apartment home and community. It has spacious rooms and unique amenities for a more enjoyable stay in Auburn Alabama.

Students would have no problem going to or coming from the University as Woodland Hills is less than a mile away and it is conveniently along the Tiger Transit Bus route.

An apartment style one bedroom one bathroom unit is available at 450 $ while a two bedroom one bathroom unit is 545 $ per month for a minimum lease of 6 months. Those planning to bring in their pet dogs or cats may do so but with restriction.

One thing I did not like about this apartment rental is that it seems to collect more fees than other apartments. They charge an administrative fee, an application fee, the security deposit and pet fee. This fees might turn off potential tenants.
