An Alabama fan confesses on Paul Finebaum to having poisoned the oak trees at Toomer’s Corner on Auburn University’s campus. The dosage was more than 60 times what is needed to kill a tree. Their chance of survival is almost zero. The trees are over 130 years old and are some of Auburn’s most timeless landmarks. Rolling them with toilet paper after a sports victory is one of the University’s oldest traditions. We are Auburn Tigers and our Spirit is NOT afraid! You can take away our Trees, but you cannot take away our Tradition. Please, if you are going to comment, show some decency. If you are deeply hurt by this incident, as many of us are, do not express your anger towards the University of Alabama. Remember, this was one man making an horrific decision, he does not represent the university as a whole.
