TH-1H Huey Around Auburn University
A TH-1H Huey from the 23rd Training Squadron at Ft Rucker came up to campus… I took some pretty terrible videos. Sound was too loud for the tiny mic on my camera, so I cut it out. The song is Long Cool Woman by The Hollies. The TH-1H are modified H model Hueys that are being used by the USAF for undergraduate Helicopter instruction. These Hueys have undergone an extensive body/frame overhaul and rebuild. They have a newer, more powerful engine and extended nose section to accommodate the suite of digital avionics.
